With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, I have developed a broad and versatile skill set, underpinned by a genuine passion for storytelling. My career has taken me across the UK and abroad as a freelance broadcaster, where I’ve gained extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of media formats.

I began my journey in 1990 as a presenter at my local hospital radio station in Plymouth, Devon. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with numerous commercial and community stations across the UK and abroad, delivering content that is both engaging and informative. I am also an accomplished voice artist, lending my vocal talents to a variety of projects and radio commercials.

From breaking news to major events and in-depth features, I consistently strive to create high-quality content that resonates with audiences. My professional experience includes roles at Hospital Radio Plymouth, contributing to the launch of Devon’s second commercial radio station, and gaining international experience in Portugal and the Canary Islands.

Behind the scenes, I’ve worked as both a Producer and Programmer, contributing to content development, designing programme clocks, scheduling music and commercial logs, interviewing recording artists, overseeing live OBs and PAs, supporting news desks, and producing compelling on-air output. I’m experienced with RCS Zetta, gSelector, PlayoutOne, and Myriad Anywhere.
The variety of this work is one of the key reasons I remain passionate about the industry, radio in particular, while also continuing to freelance and offer my media consultancy services alongside presenting.
